Weakening Lesnar rolls over against Undertaker
With WrestleMania edging closer and closer, Brock Lesnar failed to live up to his nickname of ‘The Beast’ in the latest instalment of his rivalry with the Undertaker. For the first time in weeks, Lesnar and Undertaker met face-to-face in a fascinating Raw.
The two heavyweights entered the Barclays Centre with excitement building ahead of the WWE’s showpiece event in just over a week, and the fans inside the arena were left in little doubt over who currently has the upper hand and who could be a decent bet for visitors of Betfair.com following Lesnar and the Undertaker’s latest meeting.
The final segment of the night featured Brock Lesnar and Paul Heyman in the ring issuing an open challenge to The Undertaker as the continued feud between the two parties continued. The lights went out and the Undertaker’s usual cryptic music played before a casket rolled down to the ring with a nervous looking Lesnar waiting.
After the former champion checked the coffin to find it empty, Lesnar returned to the ring only for the Taker to soon reveal himself in the casket to shock an already rattled Lesnar. The Undertaker then proceeded to lay on something of a beating to his bitter rival before tossing Lesnar out of the ring. Rather than respond to the Taker’s latest attack, ‘The Beast’ turned on his heels and headed up the ramp to close the final Raw before Mania, adding another thing for Betfair fans to think about.
While most WWE rivalries are give and take, that’s something missing with Lesnar vs. Undertaker. Lesnar has so far been the victim on many more occasions than he has the aggressor, and the former UFC champion will head to Mania with some long Betfair odds for the title.
